Adult Beginners Chess Class

Description

Presented in partnership with the Chess Institute of Canada, this two-hour workshop is an introduction to the basics of the ancient game of chess.

Journey through the Indian and Middle Eastern origins of chess while learning all of the rules, pieces, and movements. Put your newfound skills to the test and practice by playing against your peers with a friendly game at the end of the workshop.
