Join us for a talk from award-winning documentary photographer Kiana Hayeri as she offers a window into the daily lives of Afghan women, shining a light on their struggles and hopes. Hayeri’s photographs reveal a seldom-seen side of life in conflict zones, raising the question: has the West’s involvement in Afghanistan improved women’s lives? Hayeri will share her insight into how Afghan women are empowering themselves, and offer reasons for hope.
